  Hey foodies. Hope you all are safe at home. I created this blog so that everyone can enjoy restaurant-quality food safe at home. I will be putting all sorts of veg-recipes in my blog. Palak Soup ๐Ÿต๐Ÿต

  Ingredients Palak - 1 & 1/2 Cups (chopped roughly) Milk - 2 Cups Onion - 1 medium-sized (chopped) Garlic - 10 Cloves (chopped) Butter - 2 tbsp Maida - 2 tbsp Pepper - 2 tsp Salt - To taste Water - As needed Method Add 2 tbsp of butter and chopped onions in a pan and fry until it is translucent, then add the chopped garlic and saute until the garlic becomes aromatic.       Add the palak and fry it for a few minutes.                                         Next, add the maida to the pan and saute until the raw smell of maida goes away. Furthermore, add 1/2 cup of milk and let it boil for a few seconds, then switch off the flame and let it cool down for a few minutes.                                    Puree the mixture and transfer it back into the pan.                                      Add 2 tsp of black pepper powder and salt, then add the remaining milk and water (as required) to get the desired consistency. Bring it to a boil.                                Serve hot with gr

Deepavali Special Mysore Pak

  Ingredients Gram Flour (besan) - 1 Cup Ghee - 1 Cup + 1 tbsp Sugar - 1 Cup Water - 1/2 Cup Method Firstly add the gram flour and 1 tbsp of ghee to a pan and fry until the raw smell goes, set aside In the same pan and the sugar and water and bring it to a boil, the sugar syrup should be thick Sprinkle all the roasted gram flour into the syrup slowly (medium flame) and keep on stirring. Make sure there are no lumps The ghee should be added in small quantities at regular intervals. This will take 10 to 15 mins Keep on stirring in medium flame until the ghee starts to separate freely and the mixture looks thick and frothy like this๐Ÿ‘‡ NOTE THAT THE GHEE SHOULD SEPARATE Grease the pan with ghee and pour this mixture into the pan, slightly flatten with a spatula Cut squares into it before it cools down ( it will be very hard to cut into it when it cools down) Let it cool completely, then separate the squares ENJOY๐ŸŽ‰๐ŸŽ‰   LET ME KNOW IN THE COMMENTS BELOW IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO KNOW ANY OTHER R

Cashew Dates Halwa

Ingredients Dates (seeds removed) - 2 Cups Ghee - 1/4 cup + 2 tbsp + 2 tbsp Cashews - 1/2 Cup (chopped roughly into small pieces) Corn Flour - 2 tbsp Water - 1 Cup + 1/2 Cup                           Method  Soak 2 cups of dates (seeds removed) in 1 cup of water for 30 to 35 min Make it into a fine paste using a mixie grinder                                In a non-stick pan add 2 tbsp of ghee and roast the cashews to a golden-brown colour, remove the cashews from the pan leaving the ghee behind Then add the dates mixture and mix for 15 min, add 1/4 cup of ghee and mix for at least 10 min    Add 2 more tbsp's of ghee and mix for 15 min until the paste thickens like this ๐Ÿ‘‡                                             Make a thin cornflour paste with 2 tbsp of cornflour and 1/2 cup of water                                                                                             Add the cornflour paste to the dates mixture and mix for 30 min or until the paste thickens
