Palak Soup π΅π΅
Ingredients
- Palak - 1 & 1/2 Cups (chopped roughly)
- Milk - 2 Cups
- Onion - 1 medium-sized (chopped)
- Garlic - 10 Cloves (chopped)
- Butter - 2 tbsp
- Maida - 2 tbsp
- Pepper - 2 tsp
- Salt - To taste
- Water - As needed
Method
- Next, add the maida to the pan and saute until the raw smell of maida goes away.
- Add 2 tsp of black pepper powder and salt, then add the remaining milk and water (as required) to get the desired consistency.
- Serve hot with grated cheese or a block of butter.

I used to make this ...Instead of palak leaves .,I use marathakali leaves {a type of spinach which grows widely in our part of the world kerala.
ReplyDeletewe also have done with marathakali leaves but it is not available easily . In this recipe also u can use marathakali leaves instead of palak the only difference will be that we have to increase the amount of leaves because marathakali is a thinner leaf so we have to change the amount from 1 and 1/2 cups to 2 cups . The english name of marathakali is American NightShade. Hope it was clear
