Healthy Rajma Salad (red kidney bean salad)

  Ingredients Rajma - 1/2 cup Tomatoes - 2 finely chopped Onion - 1 finely chopped Tamarind water - 2 tbsp (concentrated) Pepper powder - 1/2 tsp Salt - to  taste  Chat masala - 1/2 tsp (optional)                                                                Preperation Soak the rajma in water overnight  Cook in a pressure cooker with 1/2 tsp salt in low flame for about 10 - 15 minutes or until cooked                                                  Method In a bowl add all the ingredients together and mix well Add a half tsp of chat masala. (optional) The healthy rajma salad is ready!! Methi Malai Paneer

Serves 5-6 people Ingredients Fresh Methi Leaves - 1 bunch (chopped finely and soaked in salt water for 10 min) Paneer - a few cubes Cream - 1/4 cup  Milk - 1 cup Onion - 1 (chopped finely) Tomato - 2 (pureéd) Green Chilli - 4 to 5 (chopped) Ginger Paste - 1/2 tbsp Jeera - 1 tsp Bay leaf - 1 Cardamom - 2 Cloves - 3  Chilli powder - 1 & 1/2 tsp Corriander powder- 1 & 1/2 tsp  Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp Garam Masala - 1/4 tsp Butter - 2 tbsp Sugar - 1/2 tsp Salt - to taste Method In a pan add a little bit of butter and the chopped methi (  after soaking it in salt water for 10 min  ) and sauté until cooked              It will shrink like this when it cooks Keep it aside for later use In the same pan add 1 tbsp of butter and add the jeera. When it splutters add the bay leaf, cardomom and cloves. Furthermore add the chopped onions and a little bit butter and sauté till translucent Now add the green chillies and ginger paste and sauté for a few min.

Hey Guys🤗 If you are going to take the time to bake a cake or some cookies, you should have some information about the ingredients you use and their qualities. So, here I am with the 2nd part of "Baking Tips And Tricks".  And I will be telling all about the ingredients we normally use during baking. So let's start BUTTER Softened butter is often used in most of the cakes and muffins, while cold butter is used for making pie crusts, shortcrust pastries etc Good quality butter will be soft and have an amazing texture as well MILK Milk is the most important liquid used for baking. From cakes to muffins, milk softens up the flour and has the ability to turn any mix of ingredients to a tasty dessert FLOUR The most common flour is all-purpose flour which is just plain white flour or maida. This is the type most people use as it is easy to find and easy to work with. Cake flour has a smoother texture and a lighter colour. it is mostly used for sponge cakes Self-rising flour is

Tawa Pizza 🍕🍕

  Makes 2 if large and 3 if small                            Ingredients For pizza base Maida - 3/4 cup Atta - 3/4 cup Baking soda - 1/2 tsp Sugar - 1 tsp Olive oil - 3 tbsp Curd - 3 tbsp Water - As required Salt - To taste Sauces Pizza sauce - 1/4 cup For white sauce Maida - 2 tbsp Milk - 1/4 cup Ghee - 2 tbsp Oregano - 1/2 tsp Salt - to taste Chill flakes - 1/2 tsp Pizza Toppings Cheese - 1/2 cup Veggies - Desired veggies and desired quantity( I have taken capsicum, tomato and paneer) Oregano - 1/4 tsp Chilli flakes - 1/4 tsp Capsicums, onions, tomatoes, olives, Jalapeno, Mushrooms, paneer, etc are the veggies that go well with it   Method Pizza Base Add all the ingredients mentioned earlier, mix it well and make a soft and fluffy dough. Rest the dough for about 2 hours. Blue Tea (Butterfly pea flower tea)

  Serves 4 people Ingredients Butterfly pea flower - 6 (fresh) Sugar - to taste Water - 3 cups Honey - 1 tsp per person Lime - 2 to 3 drops per person Method Keep the water on the stovetop and when it starts to boil add the flowers                                                                                                 After a few min, the water will turn blue. Then let it boil for about a min or two  and strain it off                                                                                            Add a little bit of sugar and mix well  Blue tea is ready. You may drink it hot or cold                                              If you add a drop or two of lime juice, it becomes a beautiful purple colour🤩                                                                                                            A healthy alternative choice would be to skip the sugar and add honey instead. It also becomes red in colour                                                   

Kaju Paneer 😋

  Serves 6 people Ingredients Paneer - 200 g (cubed) Onion - 2 (large - diced) Tomato puree - 3 (large) Cashew paste - 4 to 5 tbsp Fresh cream - 4 to 5 tbsp Bay leaf - 1 Cumin - 1/2 tsp Green Chilli - 2 (optional) Butter - 2 tbsp  Sugar - 1/2 tsp Ginger paste - 1/2 inch Red chilli powder - 1 & 1/4 tsp Tumeric - 1/4 tsp Corriander powder - 1 tsp Cumin Powder - 1/2 tsp Garam Masala - 1/4 tsp Fresh coriander - few strands (chopped finely) Kasuri Methi - 1 tsp Salt - as per taste Method First of all, in a pan add a tablespoon of butter and fry the paneer till it gets softened and has a colour like this👇👇.keep it aside        it gets chewy if it's fried for too long🤭😬😅 In the same pan add another tbsp of butter, bay leaf and cumin. Choco Chip Cookies🍪🍪

Makes 18 cookies                              Ingredients Chocolate (roughly chopped) - 1 & 1/2 cups             Maida - 1 & 1/2 cups Brown Sugar - 3/4 cup(powdered) Sugar - 1/2 cup(powdered) Coconut oil/Softened Butter - 1/2 cup Milk - 1/4 cup Vanilla essence - 1 tsp Baking Soda - 1/2 tsp Salt - 1 tsp Method In a bowl, add both the sugars, salt, and coconut oil/butter and whisk until combined. Add the milk and vanilla essence to the bowl and whisk together. This should be the consistency👇                                          Into the same bowl sift the maida and the baking soda together, then with a rubber spatula mix the dry ingredients and the wet ingredients until well combined                                                  Now add the chopped chocolate into this mixture and mix well                                  Cover this dough with a piece of cling wrap or a plate and refrigerate for about 30 minutes Take your baking tray and line it with butter paper and brus

Baking Tips And Tricks - Part 1 (BASICS)

   Do you want to bake like a pro and make delicious baked goods like these👇                         Just follow these tips and tricks and you are good to go😋 The most important thing in baking is the measure of ingredients A measuring scale will give the most accurate measure, but a set of measuring cups and spoons is more than enough for beginners Always measure the ingredients before you start baking                           When measuring dry ingredients spoon them into the measuring cup and use a knife to level the ingredient When measuring butter spoon the butter to the measuring cup and firmly press the butter into the cup, make sure there are no air pockets Always preheat your oven for at least 10 min because it ensures that your cake bakes evenly  Try keeping your cake in the center of the oven for even circulation of air  Only open the oven door to check on your cake after 3/4th of the time is over, if you open it earlier the cake may sink in There are ovens of all sizes a
